On Camberwell Church Street alone there’s the new bottle shop and meat bar Nape, bargain-tastic falafel and shawarma at Falafel & Shawarma, punchy Xinjiang specialities at Silk Road, London’s best kebabs at FM Mangal, inventive British cooking at the Camberwell Arms, and smoky charcoal grilled deliciousness at Queen’s. A recent article in a London newspaper confirms everything that many locals already know  – Loughborough Junction is now firmly on the property map. “The Junction is worth getting to know,” reported last week’s Evening Standard Homes & Property section.
Compared to its “funkier neighbour” of Brixton, “this low-profile location offers home-buyers significantly better value for money. Nevertheless you will still need a budget of about £500,000 for a two-bedroom flat.” There’s the London property market for you.
